CEDAR RAPIDS COUPLE GETS A HOUSE FULL OF NEW WINDOWS
2012 Winner Announced in Home Town Restyling’s Annual Home Makeover Sweepstakes
Royce and Lauren Pevy and their two young children will enjoy the rest of winter inside their Cedar Rapids home that recently had all new windows installed. The Pevy’s are the 2012 winners of Home Town Restyling’s Annual Home Makeover Sweepstakes. Winning the sweepstakes was a welcomed surprise for this young family who have lived with windows that leaked cold winter air and moisture, threatening to cause more extensive damage to their home.
Finding the money to replace the windows was out of the question because Royce is a graduate student in the College of Education at the University of Iowa. They saw the Home Makeover Sweepstakes advertised on a local TV station (KCRG) and decided to take a chance and enter the drawing. When they received the news that their name had been drawn as the winner, they couldn’t believe it, wondering if there was a catch and were delighted to find none.
The Pevy’s will spend the rest of winter comfortably warm and enjoying the energy savings made possible with their new windows.
