Whether you or a loved one needs help with any of a variety of tasks from replacing your furnace filter (why is it so hard to reach sometimes!) to ensuring your smoke detectors are working properly (some are just too high up to check!) to looking for ice dams on the roof (no explanation needed!)—we’re here to help.
We’ll meet you in person before your first appointment to talk through your needs and determine how often you need us to visit, then we’ll take it from there. Typical items requested in this service include but aren’t limited to:
- Check water softener/add salt if needed
- Inspect basement for mold and leaks
- Test carbon monoxide detectors
- Test smoke detectors
- Check furnace filters, change if needed
- Vacuum lint from dryer vent
Visual Inspection
- Look for ice dams
- Verify furnace intake and dryer vent are clear of snow
- Check gutter downspouts are clear and draining
- Verify outside faucets are not leaking
- Check windows for abnormalities
- Verify all windows and exterior doors are locked
- Confirm fridge and freezer are running
