40 Years of Excellence
Proud to be Local Like You

Hometown Restyling Sign

Founded 40 years ago by Wayne Winn, Hometown Restyling has grown from a small rented shop to our showroom on North Center Point Road in Hiawatha. Today, we’re a full-service residential remodeler serving thousands of customers within a 90-mile radius of Cedar Rapids.

We are also proudly employee-owned—led by CEO Dave Wageman—and backed by a leadership team of five employee/owners with 150+ years of combined experience at the company.

As far as we know, we’re the only employee-owned residential remodeler in Eastern Iowa. Our roots run deep here. Just stop by our showroom or give us a call, and you will very likely find yourself talking to someone who may be your neighbor or have volunteered alongside you.

A Talented Team of Craftsmen and Women

Our team includes more than 65 skilled craftsmen, carpenters, installers, and production professionals. Unlike many remodelers, we keep most of our work in-house—supporting local jobs and maintaining quality control from start to finish.

Our team is friendly, knowledgeable, and mindful of your budget. We may not always offer the lowest estimate, but we build projects to last—and we stand behind our work for life. And long after your project is complete, our in-house service department is just a call away.

Discover how our story began—and how we’ve evolved over the past 40 years.
