In Iowa, that stretch between the Super Bowl and March Madness is one of the longest, darkest, often dreariest times of the year. To fight off the winter blahs, come out to Hawkeye Downs in Cedar Rapids February 24-26 for the 38th Annual Cedar Rapids Home Show. With over 100 participating businesses, this year’s expo is shaping up to be one of the best yet.
Home Town Restyling has been participating at the Cedar Rapids Home Show since we started business over 30 years ago (can it really be that long?). Every year, we go all-out building life-size displays of our actual products for visitors to check out. On tap this year? Displays featuring the latest in doors, windows – including a sampling our new fiberglass windows, siding, sunrooms and pergolas, maintenance free decking, tub/shower systems, and even a new kitchen.
Be sure to look for the big Home Town Restyling display.
Why Attend a Local Home Show?
If you are thinking about a home improvement project this year, there’s nothing like a big home show to get your creative energy flowing. Most visitors enjoy the opportunity to look, touch, and even try out many new products and designs. In addition, you can get expert advice on home improvement projects from the pros, meet with sales reps in relaxed environment, and see products from a variety of vendors all under one roof.
Many vendors will have prize drawings and giveaways so be sure to sign up for your chances to win. If you’ve never been to a home show, give it a try. It’s a great way to see what the contractors and vendors in eastern Iowa have to offer for the year ahead. Plus, with $5 admission for adults and kids under 12 admitted free, it’s a great way to get the whole family out of the house for a while. Food and drinks, including adult beverages, are for sale at the event.
And, you get to hang out with the team from Home Town Restyling, where there’s still no place like Home. Mark your calendars and we hope to see you then.
If you can’t make it to the show, be sure to stop our showroom or contact us today for more information. You can also download a FREE Guide, the Iowa Contractor Comparison Guide for tips on hiring the right local contractor.
