If you own a home, there is almost always something that you want to change or replace, but home makeovers can be expensive. With this in mind, we’re excited to announce that it’s time to kick off our new and improved Home Makeover Sweepstakes for 2016.
Winning our sweepstakes prize gives eastern Iowa homeowners the chance to complete remodeling projects without breaking the bank. After nearly a decade of holding this Sweepstakes contest, we’ve worked with a lot of happy winners. We’ve also received a lot of feedback about how the contest works and we’ve been listening.
Based on this feedback, we’re going to shake things up with some major changes to the Home Makeover Sweepstakes this year.
More Choices
The biggest change will be opening up the Sweepstakes prize options to include any home improvement project we handle. Past sweepstakes winners had the option of choosing replacement siding, new windows, or a new sunroom. But many customers told us they would rather pick their own project so from now on, winners can choose from any of the following areas: replacement windows, replacement siding, exterior doors, kitchen remodels, bath remodels and outdoor living projects like decks, pergolas, and sunrooms.
More Flexibility
In addition to what you could win, you’ve told us that you want to have more control over what you get with your prize. So starting in 2016, sweepstakes winners will receive a $5,000 gift certificate to apply to the project of their choice, excluding counter tops, flooring, plumbing and electrical. With this system, homeowners can mix and match the features of their projects as they see fit.
Multiple Drawings
Finally, instead of having just one drawing per year, we’ve decided to hold three drawings throughout the year. Each winner will receive a $5,000 gift certificate to apply to a home improvement project. You only have to enter one time to be eligible for all three drawings. You can only win one time per year and there can only be one entry per household.
What if you win after you’ve already completed a home improvement project? No need to worry. Home Town Restyling customers who have already completed a home improvement project in the same calendar year will receive either a check or a gift certificate in the amount of $5,000.
