Bill and Linda Jakubowsky’s Cedar Rapids home had a few problems:
- Dated exterior that required a lot of maintenance
- Hard to clean windows
- Drafty and cold walls
Bill and Linda called on Dale Hanzlik of Home Town Restyling in Hiawatha for help in modernizing their home at 2144 42nd St NE, Cedar Rapids IA.
The home had the original builder grade windows and wood exterior that was not only drafty but required on going maintenance. 
They wanted to change the exterior look of the house and increase its energy efficiency. Dale put together a solution that not only solved their problems but it also fit their budget.
Home Town Restyling installed all new windows, tore off the old porch ceiling in front and installed new insulated vinyl siding.
By replacing the old windows and out-dated siding, their house looks more modern and it reduced their fuel bills.
Bill and Linda love the new look of the house and say the new windows are like putting on a new pair of glasses!
